Just for you!

Hey guys!

So I don't have enough of an update of that story to post but I do have some info and explanations related to it!!!

So I decided to give you guys a little insight on the culture and on the situation. The characters you guys just met are students at an academy called G-SOE (gee-so) which stands for Guild of Special Operations and Espionage. Essentially, young adults have a choice of becoming a soldier, a politician/ambassador, a scholar, a tradesman/merchant, or a spy/assassin...(the choice is pretty obvious XP). G-SOE is the academy for those who choose the latter as their future.

G-SOE is more commonly referred to as Fleet or Swift, which has no acronym, it's simply cause members of G-SOE are swift on their feet.

Anywho, the two major characters will be Larke and Solstice. Also, I changed Solstice's first name to Nova.

So here's some culture info! I have many other nations other than these but here are the ones I have figured out

The StarsKeep: an encampment surrounded by mountains on all sides except for one pass called the Lunar Corridor

First and Last names tend to have star and night sky related terms

Examples of first or last names…

• Ø  Solstice

• Ø  Eclipse

• Ø  Nova

StarsKeepers tend to be blonde and often have tattoos of star patterns. StarsKeepers also tend to have numerous piercings. StarsKeepers are typically reclusive and rather stay among their own. Physical contact with those of another region is highly frowned upon and makes for an extremely uncomfortable situation. The only time this is not frowned upon is when the StarsKeeper trusts or respects the said outsider.

Sanctus Lacuna: Literally means ‘Sacred wasteland’ or ‘Sacred Pit’. Desert region. Mostly one plain, but the city is built inside a deep valley in the middle of the desert.

Last names tend to have sand or desert related terms.

            Examples of last names

• Ø  SandScrawl

• Ø  DuneHyde

• Ø  ScorpianRise

Desert dwellers tend to be tan with blonde to white hair. The Desert dwellers are often very friendly and outgoing.

The North Country: A snowy and mountainous tundra.

Last names tend to have ‘white’, winter, or arctic terms

• Ø  WhiteRain

• Ø  SwiftIce

• Ø  WhiteWind

Those of the North Country tend to have white hair, lavender or blue eyes, and pale skin

Strides: Strides are a nomadic and wandering people.

Last names are different than any other region and are more eclectic. (Much like Native American names)

• Ø  SageWolf

• Ø  DancingMist

• Ø  RedScout

Strides have no unified appearance, but most tend to be brunettes.

So anyway, hope you like! I'm gonna have some more regions that I have yet to name...here they are

• volcanic region
• industrial city with numerous caverns
• chemically and radioactively infected city
• jungle region
• port city
• warrior clan

So yeah....*giggles* an in-depth world, as usual!

So I hope you enjoyed this entry! I will have character profiles and an updated chapter next!!!

~Much love
